Mission Statement
Our Mission is to: Love and help people the way Jesus did, to show Jesus’ love through our actions. We wish to help provide for those who cannot provide for themselves through shelter, food, education, and health care as we show love to our neighbors in need. We also wish to bring the teachings of Jesus to those who are poor in spirit and in need of spiritual salvation and to encourage and broaden the faith of Christians who are in poor or desperate circumstances.
We will fight for the defenseless,
Bring hope to the hopeless,
Rally Christians to bring a change in this broken world,
We are called to help the poor and bring justice and love,
We are willing to answer this calling.
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27
Statement of Faith
We believe in God our Father, the Lord of the Holy Bible and creator of the earth. We believe that all humans have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, and God in HIs great love sent His one and only Son, Jesus to teach us of the truth and to die for our sins, excepting the punishment that is rightfully ours. Jesus then rose from the dead on the third day and commissioned us to follow His teaching and reach the lost and broken. We experiencing His love wish to emulate it to others and to obey His teachings.
“Jesus Replied ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew 22:37-39
The God of the universe told us what the greatest commandment is and we must obey it. To love Him is to do what He says, and He says love your neighbor as yourself.
“If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence.” 1 John 3:17-19
This verse tells that words are empty if not followed through with actions, and that if we have the love of God in us we will help those who are hurting in need. We as an organization aim to do this.
