Coming up…

Hello all!  The Christ’s Initiative team hopes you all had a joyful and blessed Christmas!

We are excited to let you know that Josh Sheldon will be joining the team of Zach and Caleb Baker on the trip to Zimbabwe!

Josh has been involved in the organization for a year now.  He designed and spearheaded the creation of this website, as well as helping the organization in many other ways.  Josh is a photographer and will be documenting the start of the Zimbabwe Project.  You can check out his work at his site: http://joshsheldonphotography.com/.

Zach and Caleb’s departure date is February 4th, so it’s sneaking up pretty quickly!  God has continued to bless us with support and prayers through our family and our family in Christ.  We have raised some more funds, which we are very thankful for, and if you feel led to give to the organization we could still use all of the help we can get!

There will be a spaghetti dinner with live music at Monadnock Congregational Church on Jan. 20th at 7:00 PM to help raise money for the Christ’s Initiative team.  All are welcome!  It is free, so don’t feel any pressure if you aren’t sure if you’re supposed to help support us, we will be happy to see you there!  Donations are welcome and appreciated; any amount that you feel is appropriate is a blessing!

We hope to see you there!

We are all very thankful for the prayers and encouragement we continue to receive!  Our prayer requests include:

  • Protection for the team as they make their way to Zimbabwe and during the time spent there.
  • For God to guide the team in His will
  • For the necessary funds to be raised

Thank you all so much and God Bless!
