Christ’s Initiative Crusade Part II

“By faith, Abraham, was called to go to

a place he would later receive as his inheritance,

obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.”

-Hebrews 11:8

When I read this verse it reminded me a little of the journey we had embarked on.  We knew we were going to go spread awareness for the people in Zimbabwe, and we knew we had a goal of reaching Cincinnati, Ohio (where Pastor Jef is).  But we had to step out on faith; we had no idea what this journey held for us or what route God would take us by.

God had placed on Zach’s heart that it was time to take a step of faith.  He lay it upon his heart that the action He desired of us was to leave all our comforts at home and take to the road, spreading the word of our mission as we made our way towards Pastor Jef.  After much prayer and the seeking of counsel we headed out.  We had a plan of what we were going to do and accomplish on the trip but we were also leaving it open for God to guide us to where He saw fit.

God is good, not only did He keep us safe on our journey, but He also opened many doors and revealed a broader plan to us as to why we were in Pennsylvania.

God first led us to Great Valley Presbyterian Church.  They helped us in opening a lot of doors around that area (Pennsylvania).  A family from that church had us stay over at their home for two nights and we made a lot of good connections and relationships through our time there.  We were blessed with all of their help.

We also made connections at Valley View Alliance Church, they generously gave us time to speak to the congregation and we made many good connections with the people of that church – another awesome blessing from our Father in Heaven.

Our church family at MCC has been truly a blessing with their prayers and donations towards Christ’s Initiative’s Crusade, God helped make our trip possible through them.

We’re back home for Thanksgiving, but are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us as we head back out afterward.

Prayer is much needed and much appreciated as we prepare for our next journey!

We hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!  God Bless!
